January at the Y
This month is the best time to take advantage of our Member-Get-A-Member Program. You can earn double the Y bucks by referring someone to the South Sound Y! That gives you $50 in credit to use towards program registrations or services.
Remind those that you refer, all new members will have a $0 join fee this month!

New Class: Tai Ji Quan-Moving for Better Balance
We now offer Tai Ji Quan! Tai Ji Quan is a research-based balance training regimen designed for older adults at risk of falling and people with balance disorders. There are two, 24-week sessions to choose from starting in January. Stop by the Member Service desk to learn more and to register!
Les Mills Launch at the Downtown Y!
Les Mills first launch of 2018 will be the week of 1/22-1/27! BodyStep and BodyFlow launch Monday, the 22nd. BodyPump is all new on Tuesday, January 23rd. On Wednesday the 24th, we're coming at you with new BodyCombat, BodyAttack, and RPM. Finishing launch week off with new CXWorx on Saturday the 27th! Click here to find our class schedules.
COMING SOON: Small Group Training
Small Group Training offers the energy of Group Exercise with the individual attention of Personal Training, while being personal, progressive, and results driven. Sessions are led by a certified personal trainer and each session focuses on a specialized format such as strength, agility, sports training, or weight loss. The classes are intentionally small, with 8-12 participants per session, and vary in length and duration.

The South Sound YMCA is making a change to benefit our community and its residents. The Board of Trustees of the South Sound YMCA voted overwhelmingly to consolidate 5th Avenue Fitness into the Y through the purchase of the center. More...
