MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM
This new and innovative after-school program, sponsored by the South Sound YMCA, Tumwater School District, and Together, will focus on developing strong teens. Students will have opportunities to belong, achieve, and build relationships in a safe and fun environment. Participants will get snacks, homework help, engage in sports, arts, music, dance, team building, and other enrichment activities.
YOUTH & GOVERNMENT
We offer opportunities for teens to get involved in their communities and learn how to make their voices heard about issues that are important to them. Teens gain an understanding of our democratic system by participating in a mock Senate. They will gain confidence and social skills through challenging debates, bill writing, and campaigning in this incredible program.
Experience the joy of dance while fostering natural creativity and building an excellent foundation for formal training. We will teach the fundamentals of shape, line, form, and rhythm. Dancers will gain body awareness, strength, balance, coordination, and self-esteem.
Our focus is on allowing your children to develop their spirit, mind, and body through our encouraging, non-intimidating, and family friendly environment. Our instructors are among the best in their respective martial art and will ensure that your child learns the value of hard work, discipline, honor, integrity, and respect for themselves and others.
