Ladies Wanted!
Interested in learning some new dance steps? Whether it is Ballroom dancing, Two-Step, or Salsa, we have the class for you! Partner is provided. Mondays from 12:45 - 2:00 p.m. Contact the Briggs Branch for more information.

One Week Swimming Lessons
If you are unable to attend a six-week session, then this may be for you! Preschool lessons are Monday-Friday for 30 minutes each day and school-age lessons are for 55 minutes each day for one week. Check the brochure or the website for class schedules.

Washington State Senior Games
This yearly event is Sunday, July 26 from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Many records were broken last year and this meet is "shaping up" to being just as thrilling! The main pool and activity pool will be closed all day Sunday. The spa will remain open. Sign-up or just come and watch the excitement!

Lakefair
Serve up "Y Mud Pie" and promote the YMCA! Do you love Lakefair and enjoy working with people? Sign-up for a two-hour shift at the YMCA's famous Mud Pie booth at this year's Capital Lakeair, which runs from July 15-19! Adults and youth (10 years and older) are needed to help dish up Mud Pie. Sign up at the Downtown YMCA or call 918-0258.

Summer Sports Camp is Fun!
There is still space left in some Summer Camps! If you are looking to fill your children's summer with fun, healthy actifites, sign-up now! Camp field trips include the water slide at the Grays Harbor YMCA, a Tacoma Rainiers game, and Point Defiance Zoo. Reigster today online or at either branch.

Family Fun Nights
Save the date for a free Family Fun night on July 31 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Downtown YMCA! This event is free to all members and will include "Fun in the Sun" themed activities such as family swim time, fun physical movement, and more!
Family Fun night at Briggs Community Branch will be held on Friday, July 10. Call Briggs at 753-6576 for more information.

Lifeguard Class
Want a fun and exciting job? There are still lifeguard jobs available throughout the Puget Sound during the summer for lifeguards. Attend a lifeguard class at the Briggs YMCA. Contact Paul Avery, Aquatic Director/Lifeguard Instructor at 918-0317 for more information.
