SATURDAY, MAY 17, 2008 (4:00 p.m.) Our course features rolling hills and tree-lined rural roads. It provides scenic views of the Capitol area, Mt. Rainier, the Olympics and Puget Sound. Here's a chance to see Thurston County at its finest! The Capital City Marathon is known for its great volunteers, quality running shirts, awards and marathon finisher medals. Each year our shirts, awards and medals feature a new custom design. This year marathoners will receive running pants. Shirts and pants are manufactured six weeks prior to the event; therefore, we are not able to guarantee shirt sizes. Runners who register Saturday, May 17 are not guaranteed a shirt.
