YMCA Youth CampsĀ

YMCA CampThe YMCA youth day camp programs provide youth with supervised activities that teach core values, conflict resolution, asset development, and leadership skills. Kids have fun while making new friends, developing skills, learning core values, and building self-confidence. YMCA day camps give children the opportunity to play games, create arts and crafts, explore science, swim, participate in field trips, appreciate nature, and discover and value our many cultures. Through Activate America we are also developing curriculum to meet the health and nutritional needs of the children.

Our staff members are trained and caring professionals. All YMCA day camp programs are well supervised and maintain the highest standards of safety and program quality. Our day camp programs are licensed by the Washington State Department of Early Learning, and all staff meet or exceed this standard.

The YMCA provides financial aid to those families that demonstrate need. We ask that you first determine your eligibility with other sources such as DSHS. This is typically a six to eight week process so be sure to allow enough time. Financial assistance may be requested by calling the Child Care Office at (360) 705-2642, or you can download the financial aid application and mail it to the office.

For more information on the qualifications of our staff, please visit the child care home page.
