Strong Kids Strong Teens

Strong Kids Strong Teens is a nutrition, activity, and self-improvement program for kids ages 8-11 and their parents.

A Total Health Team teaches fun ways to be active, eat, and create healthy lifestyles for the whole family.

Two 90-minute sessions are conducted each week for three months, then once a week for six weeks.

To be involved in Strong Kids Strong Teens, one adult family member or guardian must participate.

It's this easy:

1. Talk to your doctor or nurse about the Strong Kids Strong Teens program.
2. If you and your provider decide this program is right for you, your provider will fax a referral to the Strong Kids Strong Teens program.
3. Once the referral is complete, the Strong Kids Strong Teens staff will call to invite your family to an orientation meeting.

For more information on the Strong Kids Strong Teens program, contact Lloyd Moore, Senior Program Director at moorel@ssymca.net or 360-918-0257.
