Youth Fitness Youth Muscle Works II - Ages 12 - 14 (Briggs Community Branch) Youth Muscle Works II is the next step from our Youth Muscle Works II class. YMW will focus on activities that promote overall fitness including muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, agility, and balance. Students will lean about anatomy and physiology and how their bodies respond to exercise. Along with using the gym, our YMW students will be introduced to safe and functional use of the cardio room.
T/TH 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Free - Full Member Karate (Briggs Community Branch) A black belt instructor will teach you and your children in a fun and safe environment. Well-rounded training and exciting action make for a memorable learning experience. Participants should be registered one week prior to the first day of the new session. Year Round Program. Youth Strength Training – Ages 9 - 14 (Olympia Downtown Branch) This class is designed to help you achieve fitness and health awareness at an early age. Strength and coordination not only help you develop physically but also socially, in a safe, friendly, and encouraging setting. Karate - Okinawan – Ages 8 - 13 (Olympia Downtown Branch) Engage in a traditional martial arts form with a self-defense emphasis. Improve concentration, confidence, and self esteem.
