Creating Peaceful Friendships

Introduction:

A new school year means an opportunity for a clean break and fresh outlook which is a good thing for everyone! As forming positive relationships (with children and staff) is such an important aspect of Y-Care, we thought we’d kick the year off right with a theme that centers around the creation of peaceful friendships. September 21st is also International Day of Peace, and therefore an event that should blend nicely into this theme. Full of getting-to-know-you type activities, games that foster teamwork and positive communication skills, and projects with an emphasis on giving and receiving, this theme is sure to go a long way in helping everyone develop peaceful friendships to last the school year through!
